We submitted both the 7″ and the Brown Album to iTunes at the start of January. We’re still waiting for it to be approved for digital download. In the meantime you can stream all of our music for free on our music page!

Last week we helped Big Rock launch their new Helles Bock – 6.66% beer at the CFMF’s Festival Hall (that venue officially opens this weekend). We also faced a death-by-highway-blizzard to play in Olds on Saturday night. It was chilly but the small town crowd toughened up and faced the frost to hear live music. We saw a couple of girls smoking by the ATMs in a bank’s foyer… Take note city-folk!

We’re going to focus on writing for a few weeks. Our next show is at The Northern in Fernie with Leeroy Stagger Feb 16th. Start planning a boarding/ski/rock&roll trip now!

Nick Taylor from Calgary Is Awesome did a brief write-up on the Big Rock beer launch:

Big Rock launched their latest brew last Thursday and was nice enough to invite me to take some pictures. Helles Bock, the latest in their Brewmaster’s Edition line, is a blonde lager only stronger…6.66% to be exact. The night, complete with it’s devilish theme featured music from Calgary’s own Cowpuncher, magic and fire-eating. The launch party also served as a preview for the Calgary Folk Fests new ‘Festival Hall’ in Inglewood. The venue is warm, intimate and acoustically beautiful. I’m really looking forward to seeing more live music there.
