Well helloooo! Over the last weekend we played three shows that you may or may not have caught.
Friday night, APR27, we helped our pals the Raygun Cowboys launch their new album in Calgary at the Distillery.
Scott and I (Ryan) got locked inside of a garage that night and had to kick down the door to escape in time to make a show at the Ship & Anchor Saturday morning. We hosted the Calgary Folk Music Festival’s Songwriter’s Contest – Sonic Youth Category.
Later that day we took off for Edmonton and did another show with the Raygun Cowboys to help launch their CD in Edmonton at The Pawnshop Live. It was our first time at that bar and it was most excellent! Cool joint Edmonton! We drove back to Calgary after and got home at 5 in the morning exhausted. But there’s no rest for the wicked…
We’ve updated our shows page and I have also included that information below. There are some big ones coming up including a spot opening for the Weber Brothers, performing in SLED ISLAND 2012 and working the streets at Lilac Fest.
Furthermore, we have a lot of Stampede dates booked and will be getting those online ASAP for anyone still looking for a honky tonk rock and roll show.
See you at Beerfest this Saturday!
